Automatically send WhatsApp messages to customers when WooCommerce order status changes (order confirmed, processing, shipped, completed, cancelled). Includes an admin settings page inside WordPress to configure templates, per-event toggles, and a test-message button.

Quick Setup
  1. Download the ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  3. Select the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. Go to WooCommerce → SMESS WhatsApp in the left sidebar.
  5. Paste your API Key and Client ID from your SMESS dashboard.
  6. Set your country code (Ghana = 233) and enable the order events you want.
  7. Click Save Settings, then use the Test Connection section to send a real WhatsApp message.
  8. Done! Every qualifying order will now trigger a WhatsApp message to the customer.

  1. Download the ZIP file using the button on this page.
  2. In your PrestaShop back office, go to Modules → Module Manager → Upload a module.
  3. Drop or select the downloaded ZIP file — PrestaShop will install and activate it automatically.
  4. Once installed, click Configure on the SMESS WhatsApp Notifications module.
  5. Paste your API Key and Client ID from your SMESS dashboard.
  6. Set your country code (Ghana = 233) and enable the order status events you want to trigger notifications.
  7. Click Save Settings, then use the Test Connection section to send a real WhatsApp message and confirm everything is working.
  8. Done! Every qualifying order status change will now send a WhatsApp message to the customer automatically.

Shopify — WhatsApp Notifications

A self-hosted PHP webhook receiver listens to Shopify order events (paid, fulfilled, cancelled, refunded) and delivers personalised WhatsApp messages via the SMESS API. No Shopify app store approval needed — works with any plan.

Quick Setup
  1. Download the ZIP file and extract smess-shopify-webhook.php.
  2. Open the file in a text editor and fill in your SMESS API Key, Client ID, country code, and Shopify Signing Secret at the top.
  3. Upload the file to your web server at a public URL, e.g. https://yourstore.com/smess-shopify-webhook.php.
  4. In your Shopify Admin, go to Settings → Notifications → Webhooks and click Create webhook.
  5. Set the Event (e.g. Order payment), Format to JSON, and paste your webhook URL.
  6. Copy the Signing secret shown by Shopify and paste it into the SHOPIFY_WEBHOOK_SECRET constant in the PHP file.
  7. Repeat step 4–5 for each event you want to notify on: Order fulfilled, Order cancelled, Refund created.
  8. Send a test notification from the Shopify webhooks page and verify the WhatsApp message arrives.

  1. Download the ZIP file (it is a standard .ocmod.zip file).
  2. In your OpenCart Admin, go to Extensions → Installer and upload the ZIP file.
  3. Go to Extensions → Extensions → Modules, find SMESS WhatsApp Notifications and click Install.
  4. Click Edit to open the settings page. Enter your SMESS API Key and set your default country dial code.
  5. Enable the notification events you want (paid, shipped, cancelled, etc.) and customise the message templates.
  6. Click Save. Order notifications will now be sent automatically via WhatsApp!

  1. Download the ZIP and extract it to your Magento root under app/code/Smess/Whatsapp/.
  2. From your Magento root, run: php bin/magento module:enable Smess_Whatsapp
  3. Then run: php bin/magento setup:upgrade && php bin/magento cache:flush
  4. In Magento Admin, go to Stores → Configuration → SMESS → WhatsApp Notifications.
  5. Set Enable to Yes, enter your SMESS API Key, and set your country code.
  6. Enable the events you want to notify on and customise the message templates.
  7. Click Save Config. WhatsApp notifications will now fire automatically on order status changes!

eBizFrame ERP — WhatsApp Notifications
Send automatic WhatsApp messages from your eBizFrame ERP to customers — invoices, delivery notes, payment confirmations, and purchase order approvals. A lightweight PHP adapter runs on your ERP server, polls a queue table for pending events, and dispatches them via the SMESS API. Works with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server backends. No eBizFrame source code changes required.

Quick Setup
  1. Download the ZIP and extract it to a folder on your eBizFrame application server (e.g. C:\smess-adapter\ or /opt/smess-adapter/).
  2. Open ebizframe_smess_adapter.php and update the CONFIGURATION section at the top: set your SMESS API key, your ERP database host/user/password, and the database type (Oracle or MSSQL).
  3. In your eBizFrame database, run the included setup_queue_table.sql script. This creates the SMESS_WA_QUEUE table and helper views — no existing eBizFrame tables are modified.
  4. Ask your eBizFrame IT consultant to add database triggers (or use the provided SQL templates in the README) that INSERT a row into SMESS_WA_QUEUE whenever an invoice is posted, a delivery is dispatched, a payment is received, etc.
  5. Run the adapter once in dry-run mode to verify your configuration: php ebizframe_smess_adapter.php --dry-run. Check adapter_preview.csv for the messages that would be sent.
  6. When satisfied, disable dry-run (DRY_RUN = false) and schedule the adapter to run every 5 minutes via Windows Task Scheduler or Linux cron: */5 * * * * php /opt/smess-adapter/ebizframe_smess_adapter.php.
  7. Optionally, use php ebizframe_smess_adapter.php --continuous for near-real-time delivery (polls every 30 seconds instead of waiting for cron).
